MY NAME IS TYRA EILEEN WESSELS. THE FOUNDER OF TYRAMACCREATIONS. TYRAMACCREATIONS WAS CREATED BY DAVID MY HUSBAND OF 14 YEARS PARTNER OF 18 YEARS…AROUND YEAR 7 OF OUR MARRIAGE, OUT OF NOWHERE DAVID STARTED CALLING ME TYRA MAC AND OVER THE YEARS HE CONTINUED AND IT JUST BECAME A PET NAME FOR ME FROM HIM.  I’VE ALWAYS ANSWERED TO HIA PET NAME TYRAMAC, NEVER GIVING ANY THOUGHT AS TO WHY. AFTER BEING ASKED SO MANY TIME WHY HE CALLED ME TYRAMAC, I ASKED HIM AND HE SAID “THE MAC WAS FOR MACNIFICENT” HIS MACNIFICENT TYRA LOL. I TOLD HIM THE WORD IS ACTUALLY MAGNIFICENT, ANYONE THAT KNOW DAVID KNOWS THAT IT IS WHATEVER HE SAY IT IS LOL THUS TYRA MACNIFICENT CREATIONS WAS FOUNDED IN 2012 .

As long as I can remember, I’ve always loved to make people smile, laugh or simply feel good about themselves. I started decorating as a young child, back then, I loved to change my room around and do different things to make it pretty. I also would go into people house and redecorate their houses in my head always wanting them to let me do it for them.  When I was old enough to research I determined that the people who decorated houses were interior designers, Right then I knew that’s what I wanted to be, Tyra Ellis the famous interior designer, however after growing up never losing interest just placed it on the back burner I ended up meeting the Army recruiter thus changing my career path I joined the United States Army and 28 years later I still continue to serve. 

During my spare time, I enjoy decorating or making things, such as centerpieces, flower arrangement or diaper cakes.  What started off  as just decorating for family and friends has blossomed into doing more parties and event, however it wasn’t until my grandsons other grandmother Pastor Shawna Adams brought it to my attention that I had a true gift. I then began to realize my gift is a Blessing from God and I decided I would not let my precious gift go to waste.

I love brainstorming the process of how to make an event as beautiful as possible, my main thoughts are how I can make this person smile a big Chester cheese smile, if that happens then I am satisfied and know I have done my blessing due diligence. The time to put each centerpiece or make a decoration is very time consuming and valuable, yet the final outcome is what is momentous to me, seeing the shine in a client’s eyes when they enter their event makes me overly joyous and happy those feelings are what I strive and love do this for.
